Our In-House Lab Makes Testing Easy!

Lab draws are usually performed on Monday and Wednesday mornings, as most lab draws require fasting.

What Testing Can Be Done Via Blood?

A lot! Anything from a basic blood count, cholesterol, food allergies, hormones, thyroid panels, and oh so much more!

What Is Fasting?

Fasting is an amount of time to which you can ONLY drink water. We usually recommend a 10 hour fast prior to majority of bloodwork.

How To Prepare

Come hydrated! Have a shirt you can roll up the sleeves easily or a T-Shirt for easier access.

What About Children?

No one enjoys a ‘poke’, especially children. But parents, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Please prepare your child by telling them what they are coming in for as this helps prevent meltdowns in the office. We will likely need you to hold your child while the venipuncture is being performed. Good news is that it’s usually fast as long as we have some cooperation :)
