Dr. Austin Gunderson

Dr. Austin began his journey by attending Missouri State University where he studied Biology and Chemistry. From there, he completed his undergraduate degree and earned his doctorate at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. During his time there, Dr. Austin was a Troxell Intern where he spent 2,000+ hours learning and mentoring other students in the Gonstead Technique. He completed over 250 hours of seminar study with the Gonstead Methodology Institute. Furthermore, he completed Dr. Wood’s 100-hour extensive Gonstead boot camp. Dr. Austin was nominated for the Clinical Excellence Award while working as an intern in the Palmer College of Chiropractic clinics.

While playing football in high school, Dr. Austin suffered a concussion which left him with headaches. His medical doctor prescribed medication, but this treatment did not resolve the underlying conditions. However, after being treated by a chiropractor, he no longer suffered from headaches. After that positive experience. he wanted to pursue a career as a chiropractor to help others by finding the cause of their pain rather than temporarily alleviating symptoms. Dr. Austin’s passions include working out, shooting sports clays, and spending time with his wife Courtney and their black lab Ellie.
